One of Sony’s big guns is now one of its smallest as SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs Fireteam Bravo hit stores this week for the PSP. Are we finally going to get a taste of what PSP online (read: Infrastructure) multiplayer can offer? That’s the word on the street. [And guess what? For an added $20 you can use a headset!]
The lowdown:
Modojo (80/100) - “The coolest thing about SOCOM is how well the gameplay has adapted to the handheld console.”
GameSpy (80/100) - “Of course, what SOCOM game would be complete without a solid multiplayer component? Fireteam Bravo delivers this in spades… The multiplayer experience is amazing…”
GameZone (90/100) - “SOCOM: Fireteam Bravo for the PSP is the real ‘Must-Have’ game of the year for anyone who owns a PSP. It’s single-player game will steal your heart but it’s the perfect multiplayer mode that will steal your soul.”
