Noobish Queston GTA vs. 1.50

I have a downgraded psp to version 1.5 so that I can play backup games off my stick, :) but I want to play GTA.

Question:
Am I able to play GTA and then downgrade once again to 1.5?

So I downloaded the emulator but I can't get it to start on my PSP? any ideas? Running 1.5 and I have SNES 9xTYL but I can't get the genesis to open
