Sturatt (http://www.neoflash.com/forum/index.php/topic,5322.0.html) has posted an entry into the Neoflash Coding Contest:

This is my attempt at cloning Geometry Wars to the psp. I have tried to get the gameplay as close as possible to the original game. It is developed in C++ and uses triEngine for it's graphics.

Looks good from the screenshot. Ill have to give it a try. Thanks for helping to keep the homebrew game scene going :)

Looks nice I'm just worried about copyright infringement and the amount of space you get on screen.

holly crap this game is hard.
edit: try this. put the movement on arrow and shooting on the analog stick and hold the psp sideways.
wow my thumb is sore.

Id REALLY like to see someone port Geometry wars to the DC (DreamCast) I'd actually pay for the iso. (Permitting that it boots)

is this a clone of the ORIGINAL geometry wars, found exclusively in Project Gotham Racing 2 for Xbox? or is this a clone of the geometry wars evolved available for purchase via XBL, either way this is nicely done!
