Im just wondering if the new PSP'S with firmware 2+ are hackable for homebrew and if they ever will be.....my son wants one for christmas and he really loves emulators.

2.01 and 2.50 machines aren't currently hackable and the so called exploit that was doing the rounds is just that. Nothing is secure forever though...

If you want emus stick to an older machine with 2.0/1.50 firmware but then you won't be able to play newer titles like GTA:LCS
