Nintendo has selected a new marketing agency to help the game company increase its market share by $10 billion.
The new campaign will market Nintendo to young adult gamers in the urban marketplace. The selected agency (Vital) has also raised brand awareness for companies like U.S. Army, NASCAR, Tommy Hilfiger, Boost Mobile and Motorola.
The announcement might even give a little credibility to the rumor that an African American lead character will be featured in an early released Revolution game. Whether true or not, credit to Nintendo for trying to reposition its company in a variety of ways.
