The UK has been in the news lately because of the shortage of PSP consoles but if you are desperate to get a PSP then an import console may be the best way, the only thing wrong with import consoles is that you cant play Region 2 UMDs on say a Region 1 PSP but games are Region free so even if you update the firmware you should be OK.

Our Friends at PSPTree (http://www.psptree.co.uk/cgi-bin/ccp51/cp-app.cgi?rrc=N&pg=store&affl=pspnews) have plenty of PSP in stock and they are from the UK, SpelKontroll (http://www.spelkontroll.se/sony-psp-giga-pack-ceramic-white-p-598.html) a Swedish site has loads in too. The Divineo Network (http://www.divineo.net/index.php?affcode=arboretum ) have shops worldwide for PSP and then you have the 2 shops who have a great reputation and probably the cheapest too, they are Success HK (http://www.success-hk.com/affiliatewiz/aw.asp?B=112&A=50&Task=Click) and Lik Sang (http://www.lik-sang.com/affiliate.php?cre=10&lsaid=219793)

If you really are desperate for a PSP then one of them will fit the bill, but one word of advice, use Airmail for delivery and you should miss those horrid import taxes.

I did that back in September... Japan and the UK have the same region code for UMDs.... I even got them to send me the welcome pack with the Spiderman 2 UMD :)

Me 2, but had to pay a tax over my PSP (that was luckily only €25,-).
But it's just not worth it I think.....otherwise they already did, don't they?!

Or you could always buy my US PSP which is in England.

(Guess I'll get in trouble for this one - sorry trying to help people out)

Isn't that a bit expensive?! That would be > €450!
But I don't think you will get in trouble for posting that m8 ;)
Although the rules say you may not post any eBay links :)

Lots of shops in the high street now with hastily handdrawn "PSPs now in stock!" posters.
