Welcome to this week's Movie/Music news roundup, containing new Japanese and Hong Kong Video and Music releases from this week listed at Play-Asia.com. Around 640 new items are covered in this week, including new J-Pop, Anime as well as Japanese, Hong Kong and Western movie releases and much more.

Let horror permeate the air, lower the temperature of your room by a few degrees with the Siren: New Translation Soundtrack. As the most horrifying game ever produced, its soundtrack alone will plant a seed of terror in your nervous system.

Expect the Soul Eater Soundtrack to be as cool and pop as the fantasy action anime. Published by Square Enix and Bonzo, the anime features the lives and missions of students studying in the school for death angels. To go with the exciting action and the theme of partnership, the album is filled to the brim with hip elements.

The fights in the "Tales of" series are often magical and heroic and this mood is largely portrayed by its clever use of music. Tales of Series Game Battle Arrange Tracks allows its listeners to revise all of these battles in one go. Feel the adrenaline in your blood stream as you relive all the exciting battles.

Months after the release of Drink it Down, the theme song of Devil May Cry 4, the chart topping J-Rock band L'arc-en-ciel released their new single Nexus 4 and Shine.

Since Nexus 4 is the theme for a Subaru car commercial, it portrays a sense of freedom and speed while Shine, the opening of the anime Seirei no mamoribito depicts the desire to protect someone or something important.

It has been almost a year since Kinki Kids released their last single Eien ni in 2007 and even longer since Doumoto Tsuyoshi appeared in front of a T.V. screen as a detective. Secret Code [Limited and Standard versions] and the related drama, 33 Tantei appease both wishes at once.

Making use of brass instruments such as trumpets and trombones, Secret Code is a fast paced, fun song with a sense of nostalgia. Re-assess the charms of the grown up idol group and Doumoto Tsuyoshi's transformation from teen detective Kindaichi Hajime to the current Kurama Rokurou.
