We hesitate to read too much into this, but there’s a rumor going round that Nintendo is going to license the Palm operating system for use in some sort of add-on for the Nintendo DS. The gist of it is that Nintendo filed a trademark in Japan for something called V-Pocket which may or may not be the name for a new package of productivity and organizer applications for the DS that would presumably take full advantage of the portable console’s touch screen. Not entirely unplausible, but it’s hard to imagine there being a massively large number of people who’d want to use the DS as an organizer.[br][br]
