After doing Downgrading from 2.0 to 1.5 - is it possible?

Is it possible to upgrade to say the official 2.50 version if you wanted to? Would there be any artifacts of the older firmware version left behind?

after having downgraded a 2.0 psp back to 1.5, re-upgrading it back to 2.0 works fine - no problem. did so myself a few times...2.5 should be no problem either!

Not so sure abëut that. Heard that Sony patched it up so if you upgrade to 2.5, u can no longer downgrade.

Not willing to try it on mine :)
