Kunal Deo (http://kunaldeo.googlepages.com/supertux2forps3) has ported Super Tux2 to work on PS3 Linux, heres the release info:

SuperTux is a free software, classic style 2D jump and run game inspired by the Nintendo Super Mario series. It was originally created by Bill Kendrick and is currently maintained by the SuperTux Development Team.

Instead of Mario, the hero in this game is Tux, the mascot of the Linux kernel, albeit the game's only reference to Linux. Many of the in-game graphics were created by Ingo Ruhnke, creator of Pingus.

I have ported the development version of this popular game on Playstation 3. So go ahead and enjoy.

All libraries are included in the package.

If you use Fedora on your PS3, SuperTux is in the Extras repo. Just "yum install supertux" and you're all set.

If you're using Ubuntu or Debian, if you have the Debian repo enabled, just do "apt-get install supertux". Note that the PPC version is not in the Ubuntu repos.

If you use Gentoo, you use "emerge supertux" to fetch and build supertux.

I suppose this release is mostly for distros that don't have SuperTux in the main repo, and for people who don't want to build it themselves.
