I have been talking to smealum on IRC and he showed a video of a FPS demo that he has produced. Plans are in place to now take the demo to the next step and develop it into a full game. He has also said that this will not be for at least 6 months so don't pester too much.

it looks promising. i hope that the view is being controlled by the stylus because that would explain its jumpiness. he could do better on the part where the character is going up the stairs, but thats probably why its not going to be released any time soon.

Wow.

I can't wait to see A.I implemented. If Smealum's other projects are anything to go by (legion, a cup of tea, desert challenge) this is going to be great.

There is still some work before getting to the level of some commercial games, but it is an impressive move in the right direction.

Nice job smealum!

The grapics are way better than many commercial games and are uniquely so on the ds, stuff like ai, less jurky controls, etc are far easier to fix than getting graphics like that! I didnt know that quality was possible!

Looks way better than prime hunters. I'd like to know how he managed to cram that level of detail in. Seriously, nearest comparison I can make is system shock 2's defualt graphics.

Quake2, because of the blaster and the hand.
