Wondering what awaits at the Tokyo Game Show? This should provide an insight. A list of how many titles for each genre and a list for how many games are coming to each platform has been released. Let's start with the game genres:

Not sure why everyone thinks PC gaming is dying when the PC has the majority of the announcements.

Hmm, wonder what percentage of the DS games will be shovelware? Heavily branded cack aimed at gullible/lazy parents.

In theory market forces should determine what appears in the marketplace but the DS really gets bombarded with tripe doesn't it!!

Anyway, roll on a UK release of Korg DS-10...

Why? I love the PC, but 98 titles? What the hell? How many of those games will even be worth me downloading a demo? Same for the DS. Oh well, at least the Wii actually gets games in some country. Here it seems like all I get is crap. Is that just me, or is it a worldwide problem?
