Realtime Worlds has broken the news to fans that there will be no more downloadable content for its excellent 360 crime-stopper Crackdown, despite player petitions pleading for more.

The news was dropped in a forum post (http://forums.crackdownoncrime.com/forums/permalink/35553/35553/ShowThread.aspx#35553) by community manager Chris Dye, who said that the developer was too busy working on MMO APB to carry on supporting Crackdown.

"Unfortunately from a Realtime Worlds perspective there will not be any additional DLC for Crackdown; the company has moved onto our next Project, APB, and is 100% committed to that and other projects yet to be announced, and as such we are not in a position to work on any new Crackdown content," read the post.

Bad news then, not just because Crackdown is awesome but because its last DLC pack was some of the best free downloadable content we've ever seen. Give us a sequel, please.
