The new sales figures for Japan come along again from Media Create, same rank positions for all consoles, just changes in the figures as follows.


Nintendo DS Lite: 56,439
Playstation Portable: 41,664
Nintendo Wii: 35,755
Playstation 3: 9,775
Playstation 2: 8,810
Xbox 360: 3,124


DS lite is on top, up 500. PSP is 2nd, down 6,000. Next is the Wii, up 600. PS3 follows, increases by 755. PS2 is 5th, up 390 and Xbox 360 is down about 430.

I canīt believe the DS lite is on top.... It certainly is popular with women, but I donīt see it as a maleīs console... I guess the DS is like a female version of the PSP (http://spiele.hitmeister.de/angebote/kategorien-playstation-portable-12-462/)

I wonder if the Xbox 360 sales will increase now there is no shortage of the (new shipment in sept), or will it continue as normal.

Thatīs a good point actually.. could people not order one though?? So sales would still have gone through...

Why is the Xbox (http://buecher.hitmeister.de/microsoft-xbox-carsten-hoeh-517615/) sooooo far behind everything else?? Not long ago everyone was saying how much better the xbox was compared with all other consoles!!

Xbox brand has never sold well in japan, but Tales of Vesperia has been a huge boots for the xbox and there are a few more RPGs that will boost it too, but will that lead to a general increase of xbox sales, or just temporally boost sales only when the rpgs are released.
