A video clip in CG anitmation at TechEBlog (http://www.techeblog.com/index.php/tech-gadget/cg-animation-shows-what-happens-when-large-meteor-hits-earth) shows what could happen when a massive metor collides with the world. Not a pretty sight I tell you. Best hope we don't get any like that anytime too soon.

oh BS that this has happened 6 times in earth's history. If that had happened 6 times first off, we would know where the huge holes would be. second, everything would be completely covered in igneous rock. And third, if it's happend before where the eff did life come from after that? No way in hell that has happened 6 times before. Haven't you noticed that just about everything science does is just based on a theory? It's not fact. The guy that came up with this is a quack.
