A funny thing is that a friend of mine who is more addicted to videogames than myself thought Shadow of the Colosus was a PS3 game, because of the awesome graphics

It's funny that you should say that puts down TP when to me it seems like it shows that SotC copied huge chunks of the Zelda look and feel (especially since everyone says TP is the same as OoT with a new story).

I wasnt saying SotC "puts down" TP.
I meant that the direct comparison shows how clunky, uninspired and outdated TP really is.
clunky controls, confused art styles and complete lack of emotion… no thankyou.

Of course Team ICO games have heavy influences, both are centered around classic gaming concepts.

I enjoy playing similar games, but i do not enjoy paying to play EXACTLY the same game again.
I still love Link to the Past. I play it alot, just wish the developers would move on from the EA model!

All I saw from that was that they put the Quake I "poo" filter over everything, which is a 'style' I really dislike, and think is just a way to cover a lack of detail.

I don't see how that video shows anything about the controls, nor how it shows an elevated amount of emotion in SotC compared to TP.

The main purpose of this thread was the link at the beginning of my post.
The video was a little joke for SotC fans.

Judgement is best saved for when you actually play the game, and not a youtube video.
I certainly would not be knocking Twilight Princess if i had not wasted my money on it

sotc was a friggin great game id say.
i played the demo and i had to get the game.
so i borrowed it from my friend.
beat it.

then got it for christmas.
then beat it again. lol.
