News/release from Nuke (http://www.usbgecko.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1039)

As 106F contained a number of bugs in both the asm and the code, i deleted the old thread, to avoid confusion.

Lots of backend stuff was changed, to improve things at a later stage and allow us to work on Multi Dol game patches.

Once again, sorry for the delay in this release, it just took us along time to find all the problems.

If some cheat codes are still not working, PM me or kenobi the codes, these will just need an extra line or so adding to the code to fix, its nothing to worry about.

many thanks!

Has anyone run Gamecube games with this extensively? I mean specifically Mr. Driller Drill Land (am I the only person on this board that has this game?).

I'm hopefully going to be shipping my Wii off to Nintendo to get it sorted this week and I love this game; AnyRegionChanger is the only thing that I've found that can get it to successfully create saves and then load from them as if running on a Japanese console, but that involves dicking with the firmware, which I'm pretty shy about after this experience.

If GeckoOS or MenuLoader offers the same functionality, I'd be happier using one of those solutions and just install the Homebrew Channel and be done with the firmware hacks.

Just curious if anyone else has had any luck with other methods or if I should just suck it up and try running AnyRegionChanger again when I get my Wii back?
