New Japanese PSP With 2.5 firmware?

Hi Again, Ive just seen on another website that all new japanese PSP have v2.5 put on them, does anyone know if this is correct, because ifso i wont bother because I cant play homebrew?

No not all the japaneese psps have 2.5 I just got apsp infrom japan today a white one and it came with 2.0, so there ya go. I am also working ona way to get homebrew on 2.5 so keep your eyes peeled.

hi, thanks for the advice, im getting a black gigapack so I presume it will be 2.0, if anyone thinks or knows different please let me know!

I got a PSP today, it was a gigpack, and is firmware V2.50.....not happy i wanted to play homebrew !!! SOMEBODY PLEASE RELEASE SOMETHING SO THIS WILL HAPPEN !!!
