It could be interesting for developers, if he would publish the source-code.

yeah, that way you could boot the UMD straight from a homebrew program.

does it use kernal?

EDIT: UMD Doesnt load on 2.0, tells you wether have a umd in driven though,
it would be useful to have that(if it worked) incorporated into the Eboot Laoder, so u dont have 2 rebot every time u want to play a UMD.

if this has plans to become a UMD loader (via hardware) for 2.0 thats great! if you have intentions of making it some kind of ISO loader please refrain from posting it on our site. whatever the case good luck!

Indeed, it is via hardware for 2.00 (Using Eboot Loader, you dont have to reboot every time if you want to play a UMD.) and it on the progress.

Lastly, please dont worry, it will not be a ISO loader and never be at all.

Could this be a way to boot firmware v2.0 on a v1.5 or v1.0 psp ? eventually

This has nothing to do with getting 2.0 games to work in 1.5 at all. The guy did just do it for educational purposes. To be able to run 2.0 games in 1.5 we must find a way to unload 1.5 PRXes and load 2.0 PRXes.

Kick ass! I wasn't able to load my original UMD Midway Treasures with either UMD emulator or Fastloader and this program does! I can now free up my memory stick. Nice app man!

What gives? Does this really work or what? I've been uploading emu & homebrew for months now & this one isn't working for me. first, I get a message from winrar when I copy the files to my psp saying "Cannot move file: Cannot read from the source file or disk". Then, when I copy the contents from the folders to new folders on my psp, I get error messages. Now, it could be that I havent slept in a few days, but did i miss something? thnx

this has promise, didnt the WAB launcher do the same thing *or perhaps it had some kind of feature that would make it unpostable*
