What do I need to play EMUS and HOMEBREW on DS?

I really need help....

Ive searched the net for info on how to do it, but I havent found much...and what I have found has made me even more confused.

If someone would give me just the basics on what I need to buy to play like an NES emu and homebrew games I would really appreciate it. ;)

I am new to this DS homebrew and such, but to me it seems that the M3 adapter is a better buy because it allows for multiple storage cartridges rather than just having the one 512mb card. Also bear in mind that (according to something I read) DS games may reach sizes up to 512mb, so if you want to run DS roms on your DS, you may not have enough room for firmware and files. But for the M3 adapter it will cost more to get setup with tho. So far I have purchased a 1gig SD card and have to get the m3 adapter. If you decide to go this route as well, a good site to find deals on sd and compact flash cards is www.xpbargains.com or www.slickdeals.net

Unfortunately I wont have my M3 adapter for atleast another week and a half so itll be a while before I can tell you first hand how good or bad it is.

kyleF - I'm also fairly new to this scene so maybe my experiences can be of help.

After a lot of research, I went for the Supercard SD & Super Pass combo. Both of these were rated highly in a review on this very website (http://nintendo-ds.dcemu.co.uk/supercard-superpasskey-review.shtml). One of the major benefits of the Supercard SD is its use of standard SD (SecureDigital) media, the same used in digital cameras etc. It's a cheap form of media and makes the copying of data to it from PC very easy (using an inexpensive media reader). Some PCs already have slots for these cards.

My experiences with homebrew & PD roms with the Supercard SD have been great, very easy to use. As the review mentions, no documentation comes with either products but full instructions and regular firmware/software updates are available from the manufacturers website (http://www.supercard.cn/eng/index.htm). If you choose these products, before doing ANYTHING else, make sure you update to the latest firmware.

The SC doesn't support FAT32.. Why, I have no idea.. And the price isn't that great either, at around $40. Almost twice that of the GBAMP. It drains DS battery and it runs no homebrew at all.
