MapThis works without GPS connected?

I'm writting this post because search engine is not working now (I don't know the reason).

I'm testing MapThis on my PSP, but I don't have the GPS yet (actually the cable), so I was wondering how the maps look like, but it does not work.

I don't know if it's because there is no GPS connected or something else.

I downgraded my 2.71 to 1.50.
EBOOT.PBP (and the rest of files and folders) are located at ms0:/PSP/GAMES/mapViewer.

Any help?

Hi,

Have you downloaded any map using GMDL ?

if not, try to enable Wifi download in mapthis (change the config file) and you should be able to see something.

It doesn't need the GPS to work, it can actualy be used only as an "e-map" (... is that a new word I just created ?)

About your firmware... I don't know if this could cause any trouble as I'm alwyas using latest CFW

You wrote you downgraded it, but is it a Custom Firmware you are running? And MapThis works without the adapter.
