MPH (http://mphwebsite.tuxfamily.org) has released a new version of his Firmware Launcher:

Firmware launcher 1.3.6 with video support !!!

I have just finished the last version of firmware launcher which allows to play video (MPEG4 and AVC) with firmware 2.00 launched (2.50 bug).

Source soon available.

Can I play GTA and socom with this ? :confused:
I really need to know because im getting socom as a christmass gift.
And I dont wanna update.

umm xuphorz, You do know what this is right? It basicly launches the firmware from the memory card, so in actuallity you still have 1.5 on your psp but can go to 2.0/2.5 without overwriting your psp firmware, so I can pretend like I'm on 2.0 with this and use the avc support which now works but actually still have a 1.5 psp.

I cant find the 2.50 firmware anywhere.
One would need it to dump into a file format that this program could launch.
Sombody wouldnt happen to know where somone could find the 2.50 firmware update would they ?
And by the way ive checked . sony only offers 2.60 now :(
