I have been a gardener since the age of 8 years old enjoying the ability to grow vegatables and flowers and the honing of skills which have made me and some of the people i work with into the best in the UK and maybe beyond.

Heres a pic of the castle

Today we have been awarded the UK Champion of Champions (http://www.rhs.org.uk/britaininbloom/Finalists/winners_2008.html) to Nottingham (http://www.thisisnottingham.co.uk/news/Nottingham-wins-Bloom-award/article-351131-detail/article.html) an award which shows the city and especially the Castle and Arboretum to be of the highest standards. To say that only 5 full time gardeners work at these sites means that the amount of work achieved is something to be proud of, this adds to the winning of the East Midlands title 16 times, British title 4 times and also the europe title and yeah gardening these days is a low paid job even if you are exceedingly good at it :)
