Excuse my question, probably has already been asked 10000 times. I'd like to buy a PSP Giga Pack which comes with 2.01 firmware version.
Is it possible to downgrade to version 2.0 in order to use homebrew and all programming stuff ? Thanks

And from 1.50 to 1.00 if you haven't updated or downgraded.

Thanks, so from now on all the PSP sold  will have a firmware >=2.01 and no homebrew will run on it ?
I better hurry up to find a PSP with a older firmware ...

This thread title is extremely misleading. The thread it self is even worse.

Just to clear something up: there is no (publicly known) way to go from 1.50 to 1.00. Don't run any program that says it will do that; you will most likely destroy your PSP.

The thread gives the impression a downgrader has been released. A simple question mark at the end would fix that title. Its also mentioned all over the place that only 2.00 or less can run homebrew and that you can't downgrade. Check this sticky in the PSP guides section here (http://www.dcemu.co.uk/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=15256).Also most of the other guides in that section mention 2.01-2.6 don't run homebrew. There is no excuse for making this even if your new you should still search around a little before asking a question. That go's for any question to.
