From the looks of it, the game will stay faithful to the 2D series. The game is being developed by the team who made Castlevanai: Portrait of Ruin, along with Koji Igarashi, the assistant director of Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. Knock yourself out with the movie below (and to the right a little).

Another Metroid-vania to sink my teeth into. Just another reason the DS is totally awesome! Also, is this the first Castlevania female lead? She sure has some bad ass magic, unlike Maria. (love her, but still...)

Mmm castlevania.

For a moment I thought this topic was about the Castlevania live action movie, few seconds of the vid corrected that thought.

Still, another game to add my DS collection :D

Sonia was the first female lead.

I tried Legends GB, but didn't have the box. Couldn't tell if the main character was a female or not. :o
Horrible Castlevania game though. Anyway, October is gonna be a "horrible month to have a curse"...just in time for Halloween. Now I should finish Dawn of Sorrow...with the REAL ending.
