SuperTux is a jump'n run like game, with strong inspiration from the

on them or bumping them from below. Grabbing power-ups and other stuff
on the way.
The Milestone1 release of SuperTux features 9 enemies, 26+ playable levels.
Use level editor distributed with the distribution for your OS (http://super-tux.sf.net)
to create custom levels or modify existing ones
You can get loads of new levels here (http://cd.bromley.ac.uk/supertux/plmdlvls.html)

trying now, takes long time to load, takes so long music plays to take the boredom of waiting.. then you have to read a slow scrolling story and wait till it gone off screen b4 u can continue, then it loads some more. i have to say after playing for 5 mins this can be quite addictive, shame the d pad dosent work, analoge only..

Does not work for me with v2.0 and Eboot Loader 0.9. I've tried the supertux for 1.0

It says "Kernel mode"

Hey, nice job. I was wondering where we could get the source code? I would really like to put the controls on the d-pad and move the jump/fire buttons to a more confortable(to me) position.

Thanks, and again nice job.
Tim

I'll release the source in a couple of days.. once I clean it up and hopefully resolve the v2.0 problem...

Meanwhile, You can re-assign Joystick buttons in ./supertux/config file:
For example, follwing settings will set PAUSE to [START] ; JUMP to [R.TRIGGER]; FIRE to [X] :
(joystick-a 5)
(joystick-b 2)
(joystick-start 11)

Here is the PSP CODES:
0 Triangle
1 Circle
2 Cross
3 Square
4 Left trigger
5 Right trigger
6 Down
7 Left
8 Up
9 Right
10 Select
11 Start
12 Home
13 Hold

how exactly do you install levels
Drop the new level folder in to data/levels.
You should see your newly installed level in the Bonus Levels Part.

Did try the 1.0 Eboot and did not work. Still says "kernel mode 0001000".
I forced the app to start anyway but the only thing I have is a black screen.

i cant even get super tux to work on my psp...

i put the content from 1.0 and the pbp file from the latest version but my psp tells me its corrupted data...

It also tells me that it is 2.71... maybe thats the problem...

I dont know how to downgrade it !!!

deniska

You must downgrade first.. search the web for 2.71 downgrader or. perhaps you can use homebrew enabler (HEN-D)

Chrisplayer

this is what i understood from a site(hacking site):

to downgrade, u need to crash down the psp and then it downgrades while crashing.
They have to overload it with info, this time using a very big picture, and make it crash... I think that's a bad idea...

I have no idea what HEN-D is but it 2x better than hacking for me!!! I'd like to try it.

Try deleting the file from your PC and downloading again, the issue you are having seems to occur sometimes. The file does not fully download but the browser thinks it has so you are left with an incomplete (corrupt) file.

I just downloaded the file from the first post no probs.
If you still cannot get it to work for some reason give me a PM and I'll send it to you.
