Lazy1 has posted some more WIP news:

It's getting there...
Music is in and works perfectly, I'm going to see if I can get the other sound effects like ammo pickup to work through the YM3812 emulator as well.

There are still a few more things I have to do before release though:
- Fix scaling artifacts from 320x200 screens scaled using the 2D hardware
- Move directory from /wolf3d to /data/wolf3d for all those who require an organized disk
- Separate arm7 and arm9 binary build process (license issue)

Awesome, thanks for working on a DS port. Is it based on Wolf4SDL?

I think it is based on the same SDL port base I worked from.

The one by Steve Fuller. (he might not be however, it's just a presumption)

Just curious, did you use my PSP port source to fix your sound issues Lazy1 or did you find another solution? :)

Best of luck with this port, this game should be on every console, it's a classic :)

You are correct, it was based on the SDL port done by Steven Fuller.
I will look into remaking the port under Wolf4SDL in the future.

The only sound issue I can remember was not being able to have music, luckily the OPL emulator from ScummVM was very well optimized and runs nicely at 11KHz on the ARM7.
Since that OPL emulator is GPL licensed and wolf3d's license is incompatible they must be built separately and are treated as two separate applications.

I wish I could take a movie of it though.
