Sorry to have to ask this again. Work has being so hectic of late that I haven't had one chance to work on Wolf since version 5.1, due to lack of time or tiredness when I had a slight bit of time to do something.

There is good news however :)

I am now on holidays for 2 weeks :D, so getting Wolfenstein 3D v5.2 out within this time frame should be a formality (more than likely 1-3 days).

So now is your chance again to tell me what you would like adding to Wolfenstein 3D V5.2 or anything that needs fixing.

Be as creative as you like, I may or may not actually do your request, but there is no harm in asking!

Some crazy cheat codes perhaps? :p

Current things on the todo list :

1) Fix/adjust analog sensitivity.
2) Fix sleep mode crash bug.

So that's all I wanted to say, sorry again for having to ask :o

I noticed when you exit the game (from the Wolf 3D menu, not by pressing home) some of the exit messages are wrong. Like, normally you would press X to exit and O to cancel. But some of the messages say to press O to exit and X to cancel which can make someone do the opposite of what they wanted to do.

i think like Domovoy12 - an automap feature would be cool - if it`s possible !

PS.: Mein Leben = My Life ! Here`s some other german words you may encounter playing Wolfenstein:

Achtung = Attention, Caution
Verboten = Forbidden
Halt = Stop, Freeze
Schnaps = Booze (from C64 Wolfenstein, don't know if it is in PC Version, too)

If s.o. needs to know other german terms, just ask.

Something that's missing from the Actual game is the red screen that appears when you die. Now there are two ways you can do this. NewWolf makes it transparent and fade in (See screenshot below), the Original made it Just "fade" in by having several blocks/pixels appear to eventually cover the screen to make it a solid Red.

Maybe pixel blurring as well? kinda like how the graphics show in the above pic... just an idea. :p

Plus i think you should work on a port of a different game as well, because you seem to be doing very good with porting :)

Hmm, you do have a good point there, shadow warrior has yet to see the light of day on the psp. I do agree that one would be excellent to play. Do it! haha.

But ill include the source to this game anyways as its about the same age as wolfenstein, you dont need to do it but if you want to look at the source anyways, its on this site :)

I told you Zack that people wanted to see a Shadow Warrior port ;)! You would be the first to do it!

Anyway, I finally got time to jump on these forums but only have a little bit of time. I'm currently in Colorado and will be in New Mexico by tonight (Tomorrow I'll finally be in Texas), So the move is going smoothly Zack :)! I tested out your 5.1 this morning and love the new Gameloader and I did notice that you slowed down the music in the game in order to appease the masses, great Job :D! I do agree with the people from the last page that maybe a death screen is needed, I'm sure it's not too hard to implement. Let me holla at someone for a minute.

@Wolfpack: Pixel blurring (aka GPU acceleration) is nice (Like in PSP Quake) but Chilly Willy, Zack, and myself believe in keeping the game authentic to the original. Rise of the Triad, Doom, Heretic, Hexen, Hexen II have not been pixel blurred because the authors believed in keeping it as original as possible. I'm not saying Zack won't do it but me and him discussed that he want's to keep the graphics the way they were back in the day.

Now Zack, I have to cut this short but keep up the good work in grabbing ideas from the community and implementing them. Keep your thoughts on your side projects as well, especially since people are interested in Shadow Warrior. I'll try to get on again to talk but no promises, later dude :thumbup: !

P.S. Saturday I should be in my New apartment but sadly, I won't have internet until a week or two after :(, sorry. Let's hope sooner but I won't hold my breath...

The only problem is the source. I would love to have a meltyblood act cadenza port, or actress again once it gets released for something besides the arcade.. Though.. I think the mbac source is lying around somewhere.

Sorry it is still ongoing. I have just being so busy with work and real life stuff that I have had little to no time to work on it.

Add to that, that I am working on my own game + have had a spite of pc issues, it hasn't made development any faster :p

Pc issues are solved, work is still hectic but I am managing it better, my game is progressing.... so hopefully a update will come soon :)

So just to reiterate, the project is still alive and kicking, please have patience :D
