Well for GBA, use gpsp by Exophase. It runs almost all GBA roms at 100% full speed. It also has savestates. The latest version is 0.9 I think.

As for Playstation One emulation, use POPSLOADER, it's a built-in emulator in your PSP. Just use PSX2PSP GUI to convert PSX ISO's to PSP EBOOT's.

As for other retro consoles, try MasterBoy. It has GB,GBC,SMS and more, in one program.

Make sure you have the 1.50 kernel plugin installed on your M33 firmware since 1.50 homebrew need that plugin.

I'm having a similar problem, would putting the 1.50 kernel not mess up a slim psp.

It won't work on the Slim anyway. Try this one: http://www.dcemu.co.uk/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=46231

It's the one I'm using and works great on the 4.XX kernel.
