John Schappert, the man in charge of Xbox Live, has admitted he's no idea when we'll see the downloadable content for Grand Theft Auto IV.

Last we heard, the DLC - which is exclusive to Xbox 360 - was down to be released "this autumn".

But, well, it's October now. So during a roundtable interview at the Tokyo Game Show, we asked Schappert whether we will indeed see the content this side of Christmas.

"Frankly, I don't know," said the Xbox Live boss. "Rockstar are the people to ask for that."

He went on to add, "I hope as a gamer, just like I'm sure you do as a gamer, the sooner the better. I can't wait for it." Even though, Schappert confirmed, he hasn't had the chance to give it a play as yet.

The corporate vice president of Live software and studios, entertainment and devices division, to give him his full title, delivered a keynote speech at the Tokyo Game Show earlier today. You can read our live text report for the full lowdown, and there's much more from Schappert in the full interview (http://www.eurogamer.net/article.php?article_id=256086).

With Gow 2 and banjo 3 coming out I have all but forgotten about GTA4, hell I even traded it in for Rock Band 2. They lagged it with this DLC, It should of been released months ago to have caught gamers attention. This was just the hook MS used to reel in people to purchase it on the 360 instead of the PS3 and everyone knows that ;)
