TiVo Desktop 2.3 Beta Supports PSP & Ipod

Tivo (http://research.tivo.com/transfers/) is now supporting PSP and Ipod, heres the detail:

"This feature is for TiVo® Series2™ Digital Video Recorders only! DIRECTV DVR with TiVo, and TiVo Series1 DVRs are not eligible for this update.

Only DVRs with TiVo Service Numbers beginning with the following characters are eligible for this software:
110, 130, 140, 230, 240, 264, 275, 540, 565, 590, and 595

(You can find your TiVo Service Number by going to:
TiVo Central -> Messages and Setup -> System Information.

Your DVR must be connected to Windows PC via a Local Area Network. If you need more information on how to set up your DVR to connect via your home network, please see tivo.com/getready

You must have the latest generation iPod with video support or a Sony PSP (system version 2.0 or later) for the duration of the Beta period.

The Beta software will automatically expire at the end of the Beta period. At that point, you can download the final version of Desktop 2.3 with auto-transfer support. You'll need to purchase the iPod and PSP support separately."

i have a dvr on my pc ive been doing this for over a year already and its free why would any one pay for tv shows i already pay 50 bucks a month for my directv thats enough if you have half a brain you can do all this stuff already for free so its not news in my mind some big wigs at these companys are just trying to make money off something they already made money off of with all the ads in them for every 30 min show you get 8 min in ads thats already paid for the show so why keep paying for it. or if your real lazy just buy yourself a msd video recorder they are less then 150 bucks and encode it for you already on your msd
