PSP-3000 sneaks out a bit early, suffers an unboxing

Due to be launched next Tuesday, the PSP-3000 Ratchet & Clank Entertainment Pack has managed to slip into at least one Best Buy a few days early, where it was quickly snatched up by friendly tipster Aaron G. He sent us a few unboxing shots out of the kindness of his heart, and now he's undoubtedly too engrossed in National Treasure 2: Book of Secrets and that ultra-bright screen to pay us much heed. Oh Nicolas Cage, what a charmer you are.

Wasn't the PSP 3000 supposed to come with a 4GB memory card? That one's a 1GB...
I didn't notice the more curved edges on any of the promotion shots, but they're really obvious in this picture.

I don't know about now, but if the PSP 3000 ever gets homebrew I'll probably pick one up.

no it came with a 1gig but in November their gonna have a psp 3000 bundle that comes with a 4gig stick and a voucher for everyday shooter

If we can get custom firmware on these I will be buying 3 of them by or before Christmas. Time to donate and hope that the homebrew scene will stay on even ground with SONY's countermeasures.

I'd pick one up if it got hacked.

Yeah, those blue phat PSPs were nice, as are the Madden Blue Slim PSPs.

Ehh...why does each succession of PSP's look worse and worse? I liked the premium feel of my PSP Phat and the iR functionality.
Enter the slim which feels like a toy and omitted the iR capability.
And this one doesn't look much better.

Maybe I'm just used to walking around with the glass half full...I'm thirsty dammit.

...to little to late, its a slap in the face to the poor people who upgraded their psp phat for a a psp slim about a year ago, i love my psp but even though i dont own a DS i would reccomend it over the psp due to the new ds not only being reduced in size, but also have a camera (included in the price), brighter screen etc.

are any of you seriously thinking about upgrading to the 3000? i am not sold on the idea lol
