Hell Hibou (http://wiibrew.org/wiki/Wii_Homebrew_Launcher) has released a new version of his Wii Homebrew Launcher, heres the details:

Wii Homebrew Launcher is an interface similar to that of the Wii menu. It allows you to start homebrew stored on your SD card in the Wii front SD slot. Each program is represented by its own customizable "channel".

I honestly like the setup to this, but I just can't get around the fact that I have to have the homebrew channel installed to access this. It's like deliberately adding an completely unnecessary extra step to opening up whatever homebrew you want to play.

Apparently with this you can have the homebrew files anywhere on the SD card, provided they follow the file conventions, but how hard is it to just drop the homebrew into the apps folder?

I kinda wish the hack mii team would do something to update the homebrew channel, perhaps with organizational abilities within the apps folder to create a submenu that you can devote to just console emulators or just FPS, or just single game ports, or just original games, etc.
