Capcom, teasingly, has told us Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix will arrive on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 "very soon".

The publisher couldn't clarify an exact date, however - presumably due to unpredictable XBLA and PSN certification processes.

SSFII Turbo HD Remix is, of course, a revamp of the fighting game from 1994 - the first of the series to feature Akuma and super combo moves. Super Street Fighter II also introduced characters Cammy, Dee Jay, Fei Long and T. Hawk, while the Turbo part of the name added faster and more difficult combat.

The HD Remix brings 1080p redrawn graphics to the gable, plus a remixed OCR soundtrack and plenty of OCD tweaks to the painstakingly balanced fighting formula.

"very soon" is not soon enough, this game was promised to us last year!

Yeah, it has been awhile.
Still, Capcom has been doing great this year. They pulled Mega Man and Street Fighter out of the fire that was X8 and EX3.

Now if they actually did release Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 on PSN or XBLA as rumored, that would be their greatest achievement. :)
