i was tring to install Twilight HACK to install homebrew channel and when i try to copy the saved files it tells me i need to play the game before i copy saved file data and i have played zelda before so...? whats wrong

Well, is your TP save file still on the system? Have you tried booting Zelda and creating a new one then removing that? What firmware rev is your Wii and what version of the Hack are you trying to run?
