The new DSi will not only feature a camera and SD-based music player, but some robust supporting software known as DSi Camera and DSi Sound. Demoed in these two clips, what can we say? Apparently, the only thing that's been missing from the DS Lite was a way to turn an attractive Japanese model's face into Sloth from The Goonies.

In a few odd ways, it reminds me of the Game Boy Camera (something that I still have after all this time). I wonder if Nintendo will come up with a printer for the DSi? (I also have the GBA printer too.)

They could probably make a cheap, low quality portable printer that prints from SD cards, slap a Nintendo logo on it and sell it for a decent price, since they no longer have the GBA slot for expansions. I'm actually pretty impressed by the software, it really hints at increased processing power because I don't think they could do that kind of stuff without a faster processor. Moonshell barely plays 256x192 video well and panning around large images is really slow, but this looks fast and responsive and they're doing some pretty complex image manipulation in supposedly real time.

Video look awesome. No wonder, I want to buy DSi.

They're working with a 256x192 image.
That's not a "large image" by any means.
And from what I see, that's not a complex type of image editing.
Even so, I really doubt an increase of CPU power could be possible without wrecking compatibility with old games.
I want to see how they're going to cope with even the increase in the size of the screens, let alone an increase in the power of the CPU.

What a ridiculous scam

Maybe the camera will keep 8 year-olds happy for about a month.

PSP3000 improves the LCD and added an inside microphone.
NDSi added two cameras: one is in the back cover , the other is on the upper cover.

LMAO!

I do hope it has more processing power though... It might be worth it then but I doubt it...
