[new] R4 Problems

Hey guys Im new to this DS hacking and just bought an R4. ok so I got the cd and all with it and did what it says but when i put the micro sd into the ds cartridge and put the ds cartridge in my DS Lite it starts up but says theres no DS game pak insterted? Ive tried installing so many different versions of moonshine and all but I cant get the DS Lite to read the cartridge? any help on what im doing wrong? please send me a message on AIM if you feel its quicker- whosaidheim
