Fanjita (http://www.dcemu.co.uk/vbulletin/member.php?u=6027) has released the first Homebrew Game Tetris that works off the Exploit found in Edison Carters Cheat Device (http://www.dcemu.co.uk/vbulletin/showthread.php?s=&threadid=16897) (Which was the first homebrew working on any console above 2.01), of course it goes without saying you will need to buy Grand Theft Auto Liberty City Stories (http://www.lik-sang.com/info.php?products_id=6533&lsaid=219793) to be able to get Tetris working on the PSP V2.60 Firmware.

All hail the unified nation of homebrew!!
Now all major firmwares have been exploited to a degree!!

This means two things!

Thing #1. all systems can now play homebrew to a degree.

thing #2. If sony want's to stop homebrew it's going ot have to sweeten the deal even further buy giveing people more anticipated features in future firmware releases.
In a way everbody wins :D

A third optimistic possibility.
now that we are seeing 2.6 exploited. It should give us hope that no matter what sony throws at us. we will over come it.

once again. all hail the unified nation of homebrew:D

i wish i could code... its slow rite now bcuz alot of people has abandoned the psp. im sure if it was like the beginning, when psp first came out, it would be even more apps on 2.6.

Wow. This is certainly a big step for the future of homebrew on the PSP. Fanjita and others involved are just extraordinary and I am extremely appreciative. This must sting those within Sony who are against homebrew. And so it should. I think Sony should spend more time creating great games and content for the PSP and stop trying to shut out homebrew. I'm sure most if not all PSP owners feel the same way also. I hope this sparks some revived interest into the PSP scene.

great work fanjita thanks for keeping the homebrew scene alive! this is a great step forward for homebrew on higher firmware. The one amazing thing i realised about the tetris game is that compared to the first homebrew released on ver2.00 it is actually playable and really clean to run. keep up the great work and i hope to see more homebrew for Ver2.6 soon! ;)

Overall this is a huge step for more homebrew being allowed to play on 2.01 and up but lets be honest for a sec who wants to load up GTA, get into there game, load another game file, (the app) and spend all that time waiting for that to load (and repeating that process if you exit and want to load up another app) when you could be cool and have a 1.50 and just go game folder-choose app-home button when finished done :)

Also-Now were going to see two different types of files being created to run A-only on 1.50 and possibly 2.00 B-2.01 through 2.60

and we all will lose out and i doubt the 1.50 people are going to update to 2.01 and up and since theres no way to downgrade the 2.01 and up users lose out on the 1.50 apps

But once again this is good news for you 2.01 and up users im happy for you guys, seriously! (All my 2.01 and up people i know are asking me to help them get hacking. . :D )

its some good news but like "YourStillWithMe" says its kinda difficult load a game (that u must have) and then load another app, i really cheer the ppl that do this work but im al little afraid that homebrew will stop until there some way to create a "true" xploit or hack the firmware (free firmware), or even ntil a mod chip?
