Audio Mechanica V7b

Hi Guys,
Here's the second release of Audio Mechanica since the rewrite with Go!Cam support.
This is the first series that can record direct to file, and is able to do so with either
the Socom microphone headset, DIY mic, or Chotto cam (Go!Cam) microphone :)

Updates for V7b:

Program reports errors to screen, and constantly checks available space during recording.
Implemented recording timer, displays hours, minutes and seconds for the current or last completed recording.
Program checks and creates target recording data folder on the Memory Stick if it doesn't already exist.
Program checks and reports previously recorded files, and does not overwrite them.

There may still be updates to come for this program.
Cheers, Art.

Does this work on the slim?

Also is it possible for you to implement sound activated recording?

Thank you for continuing to work on this Art!

I don't know if it works on the slim, but I think it should.
(Please let me know)
User mode app, runs on Fat for me under 3.xx kernel.

Voice activated recording is possible,
as well as the earphone monitor which I may implement again... as well as underclocking the PSP.

Already implemented for next release:

Program reports errors to screen, and constantly checks Memory Stick available space during recording.
Implemented record timer, displays hours, minutes and seconds for the current or last recording.

Hey Art. :) I just want to say that your work is awesome! :D It is both fun and a great tool for several reasons.

Anyway, I wanted to send you a PM but I didn't have enough posts so here it is...

I have a new idea that could extend this project beyond what it can do. It seems feasible. It will turn your psp into a wireless mic for your computer. Here is the thread. (http://psp.wijou.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=491)

We will need a little bit of help to get started as The PAD Team (The PA Dev Team) are really busy with their projects. What do you think? :)

Nice idea, but not really the direction I want to go with it.
Some of the "ToDos" are just catching up to the functionality of the older versions.

It's also outside of my areas of programming too with the networking stuff.
You'd need a PC side driver too.

Nice work - I've just recorded a sample thru the GoCam.
Excellent quality, and it exports directly to PSP Rhythm for
editing/sequencing.
Would it be feasible to allow alternative codecs in future updates?

great ...and it works on my slim 3.90 m-33...i tried with the skype headset and remtote...

the program always saves starting audio000 ...so if you record more than once(start the prog again) it will override the existing files...could you fix that in the next release...

thanks a lot ...keep up the good work

EDIT:wow that was fast ...i should of checked ...

ok since you did so fast how about a playback feature with delete and rename function ...lol

I'm thinking of possibly naming the files with the time & date recorded.
