After receive a few feedback of PSP 1.00 Japan user, about having problem with MPH FL. So I decide to help again.


MPH Firmware launcher for PSP Japan 1.00 and of course FW 1.50 as well.


Version : 1.3.7u5u1 (Last version)

u5u1 version:

1: For PSP user with Japan Firmware 1.00 (Not tested)
2: Further reduce the eboot size to 40+KB only
3: Last version (I hope) ;)

Well i'm here to report for i5u1 on PSP 1.0.
Unfortunately, it doesn't work.

The paths are correct, i tripled checked them. I tried loading fw 1.5, 2.0 & 2.5.

How about change your firmware folder to

M:\flash0 and M:\flash1 when M is your PSP Drive

Thanks for your suggestion but I get the exact same error.
The path seem alright because when I get that error, I see MS activity a lot.
If i set a wrong path on purpose, i get the error instantly with no MS activity.
For some reason, mphfl_driver.log always stays empty (0kb file) with your i5u1, but if i use MPHL 1.3.7 original, here's the log i get:

So i didn't copy OUTX into OUT, used instead PSP Firmware Processor with the "Process 'OUT' and 'OUTX' " option enabled and i worked fine !

If you're on 1.0, do you mind posting the files you're using on rapidshare.de or something like this?

The problem is that this error is reported on 1.50 if the path is wrong.
And always occurs on 1.0 even if the path is right.

ive searched hours for something like this for 1.0.
i really hope someone can find a way to get this working, would pay for this if it actually works :)

i noticed that it wasnt tested on a 1.0 psp tho, so im not gonna get hopes up just yet.

I got a 1.0 jap psp. wont upgrade it so thank you EVER SO MUCH for releasing this, hope it works. Will try it out tomorrow and let you know.

You can get Lumines running fine using devhook 0.22 once you have dumped the ISO. Have fun :cool:

If you still want to help us 1.0 users, isn't there some sort of small program you could write that we could run to debug MPHFL ?
I am often on IRC and would be available to test anything you want ;)

I found that 2.0 boots I even have a custom desktop installed becuse I used to be on fw2.0 (i'm now on 1.5) BUT I can't view my pictures or rum a game.

I really wish someone could fix this problem though... I always subscribe to this thread just in case the next random person that posts has actually found out something usefull.

I will be trying to fix this, not that I know what I'm doing... but with the source code, a compiler, and a keyboard that i can press random keys on... I will be able to find an answer someday :p

Please if anyone a little more knowledgeable could fix this problem, it would really make us 1.00ers happy! :)
