Guitar Hero World Tour - Mic. Compatibility

hi, i bought an usb wii logitech mic.. it works perfekt with rockband, but don't with GH World Tour (NTSC) with my PAL Wii. Did i need the original GH Mic?

It seems like that, unfortunately. My sister got some singing game for Wii, and the mick looks practically the same as the GH : WT mic, but it just wont work :( (at least I think it look the same, there is a long cable, with a little housing near the end of the cable).
