ok, this x-mas, i can ether get the following:


*PlayStation 3 (80GB)

*LittleBigPlanet

*PlayStation eye (the camera)

*Gears Of War 2

OR:

*Gears Of War 2

* a $500 pc


NOTE: my pc is very bad and it can barley play portal, left for dead on xbox is great, but games are normally better for the pc because of all the mods and stuff, but i am also pretty crazy about LBP.

PS3 and LBP.
If you like games, you owe it to yourself.

The eye isnt necessary though, the quality is downgraded for use in LBP so its not ideal. But the camera itself is pretty good, and i enjoy using it with 'Mesmerize' and 'Tori Emaki'

Hard choice, LBP for me personally, is the only killer app on the PS3 at the mo

I would drop the PlayStation eye (the camera) and get either Fable 2 or Fallout 3

Crap bro I'll be lucky to snag a couple of games for christmas lol.

Id have to pick the first one. I dont think the Eye is necessary though. Im sure you could find some PS3 exclusive that would be better.

You could even just pick up an older PS3 exclusive that's a lot cheaper now.

Though the eye could come in handy in time, I suppose.

Yeah. I might be grabbing Assasin's Creed for $19.99 here in a bit :D Some of those games have gotten very cheap.

I'd say for you to get the Playstation 3, the Eye and the two mentioned games, Little Big Planet is so ace.

wow, no votes on the pc huh? well, i hope walmart still has the deal where i get the $100 gift card if i buy a ps3 on Monday (that is as soon as i can get it and it started last saturday) i suppose i will be able to make ps3 reviews from there on so that will be another plus, thanks for a clear winner, my mind is at ease now.

Get a Dreamcast, a BBA, and 30 games. Would be cheaper than the PS3.

Yeah, Folding@Home FTW, gotta love the molecule animations! Speaking of which, I haven't done it for quite a while, need to get it out sometime and add more the the DCEmu folding team (number 60846).
