Personally i have played so many games and especially via emulation that the list is so damn long but i suppose Mario 1 on the nes i played godknows how many years ago and still play now and again today.

If im counting actual play time then Red Alert2 ive played hundreds and hundreds of hours on it :)

I'm still playing Tekken DR and I bought it on 2006, I think that is the longest

I think it would have to be Metroid. I had it for the NES, and when I unlocked it again on Metroid Fusion, and again on Metroid Zero Mission, and then when NES emulators came out on PSP, it's the first game I started playing again. The best part of this, I found all my old passwords from when I was 7, so I didn't have to go and completely restart.

If your talking about time spent playing a game, Monster Hunter Freedom 2 has a good 400 hours on it. Kept playing it through the ranks with friends to get their HR up.

Lately I can hardly keep my focus on a game for longer than 40 hours...but back in the day I'd plug in hundreds of hours in games...probably my longest was FF Tactics (the original) I've played that game through several times putting in about 140 hours each time.

It scares me when I think about how many hours I have spent playing Pokemon on Gameboy, emulators, N64, GBA, and lately my DS. I'm not sure what else I would have done with that time though.

Well I've got a count on street fighter alpha 3 for the sega dreamcast clocked at 2,000+ hours, And king of fighters 99 dreamatch is around 1,000 hours. but I'd say it goes to my copy of contra 3. I play that two hours a day for about 13 years now.

Not including the MMORPG FFXI (erased from memory lol), I would have to say Final Fantasy XII. 130 hours....with plenty left to do. I had to quit or else it would probably have gone beyond 200 hours.

Mario Kart 64- me and my friends played that every day for hours for over a year! Hands down the most time I've put into a game. I'll never get sick of it...it was a masterpiece!

Medal Of Honor: Allied Assault for PC- I used to be an ebay seller and that multiplayer would be running on my other PC while I worked!

Advance Wars 2 for GBA (which I played using an emulator on PSP)- I unlocked everything and I mean everything.

Legend Of Dragoon. The theatrical battle system keeps drawing me back, and it looks good on the PSP despite a couple of small glitches. Yet I never did finish the game, kept losing the save file.

I guess Asteroids - 28 years and still going strong via emulators (and whenever I can find a cab in an arcade). One day I want to own a cocktail cab as a coffee table, but my other half doesn't see that in the same way I do.

for the sheer amount of times beat, the trophy would have to go to both Max Payne 1 & 2 on the PC. However longest hours played would probably wind up being Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy.

The longest i've played a game for was a couple years ago and alot when i was younger. But a couple years ago when i was into play playing PSO online v.2 for the Dreamcast i would pull all nighters to play that game online.

When i was younger renting games were so much fun i remember when Donkey Kong Country 2 was released for the SNES. I rented that game and played that all night long.

For the PSone when Pitfall was first released to the PSone i rented that aswell. I pulled all nighters playing that game until i got bored of playing the game lol.

They werent all good games at all i was young but PSO was probably the best.
