I will tell you step-by-step what I did so far:

I downloaded the "you know whats" (4 letter word that starts with "R" not to be mentioned in this forum!) :D

I am not new at Emulation on a PC but the PSP is different!

I got a PSP ver. 1.5
I Downloaded SNES & Genesis Emulators for PSP
and the KXPLOIT.RAR
I plugged my PSP using a USB cable
I extracted the emulator zip files

Following the steps in EMULATION & HOMEBREW INSTALLATION GUIDE Trend
I placed the EBOOT file, readmes, etc. In my PSP /psp/game/snes/
I tried kxploit and it said it needs to find a program it came from.
I picked SELECT PROGRAM MYSELF
/desktop/my computer/removeable device E:/ psp/games/snes/snes9xTYL-0.2c/V1.5_kxploit_ready/s9xTYL/EBOOT

IN OTHER WORDS I selected the EBOOT file I put in my PSP
Then It said that it was not a valid windows application

I tried the same steps with SeiPSPTool05b and the same happened :(

can someone help me out here!?

Its because you are using a file that has alreay been KXploited...

If the homebrew you download comes with two folders named along the lines of "emulator" and "emulator%", then just copy those two folders over and you're laughing!

Example Install:-

E:/psp/game/s9xTYL
E:/psp/game/s9xTYL%

All KXploit does is make a two folder, 1.50 compatible version of homebrew released for 1.00, which only requires one folder!

If you ever need to copy data files into the homebrew, like these "Rags" you mentioned, then they must be placed inside the folder without the %.

I Hope this helps!

Cheers,
Fox

Thanks Fox it works now but its a bit slow...at least it works! :)

by the way does anyone know if there are GENESIS EMULATORS that have already been KXPLOITed?

or is there a way to get it to work w/o KXPLOIT?

DGen is all set for 1.50. The zip file you download will contain two folders, just put them both in the GAME folder on the memory-stick.
