PSP Custom Firmware Update Question

Hi

I haven't updated my PSP's custom firmware in a while, and it is currently on 3.90 m33-2. I want to update it to the latest one there is (5.00 I believe), but I want to know if it is safe to go from 3.90 to 5.00. Can it brick my PSP in the update? A guide or information would be helpful.

you are okay to update... if it was anything bellow 3.52 M33-4 then youd have to be worried... anything above it any you are safe :)

just use the network update if you can to update your psp ( much faster that way )
