geodata file format

Hi guys

I was wondering if anyone knows the file structure of geodata.dat. I have been running though those perl scripts from Dutch geodata application and figured out few things but if someone here knows it or has it documented it would be much easier :) .

As i figured the header goes first with the list of postocodes/provinces etc. Then go the compressed files for each postcode. What is the format of the header and the compressed files?
