On Monday, Jan. 19, 2009 at 12:01 am eastern standard time – we will be launching the website: I Have a Dreamcast (http://www.ihaveadreamcast.com) with the streaming of a 24 hour Dreamcast gaming marathon!

We plan to have multiple Dreamcasts set up and a webcam positioned to stream it all – we are going to play all types of games nonstop Monday.

A handful of local bands from Athens, Ga have signed on to play at certain times during the 24 hour marathon (we are still nailing down times). All bands will play a one or two acoustic songs and each band has been given the challenge to write a Sega inspired song!

The bands are:

I've been watching on and off since they started and its been 'interesting' with a small group of folk in Georgia(?) USA.

Their feed drops out every once in awhile; but, they usually renable it within 5 minutes, or try pausing and un-pausing the video. They're using Justin.tv and that site is having problems with users (especially new ones) logging it so that they'd be able to participate with the realtime chat - Justin.tv is supposedly working on it...

At this time, the group is playing Virtual Tennis and have about 45 realtime viewers with almost 4,000 how have checked it out...
