News/release from bigbobrocks (http://forums.qj.net/showthread.php?t=147061)

Alright guys i made a big long thread for this, then i clicked submit and found out that i hadn't clicked keep me logged in, so i lost it all.
So here i go again for the SECOND time.

On 2007-11-03, the Invader Zim game officially got it's first beta, with only two members in the team Bigbobrocks - who came up with the idea and level designs, and it's only coder/gfx creator LMTLMT.

After that many new coders came into the game, a few left until a stable team was formed.

On 2008-04-18 the Invader Zim game was officially called dead.

I don't have many of the files left, but i still have the first level or though not the final version but close to it and the beta of the second level.

I'd like to give it to you, to give you a chance to try it out

But first naming everyone that worked so hard on this amazing game that never got to see the light of day.

Coders:
Osgeld (also let the team use his ftp, Cheesefactory.us)
Googol PL3X (Eventually became team leader and the lead coder)
TyPR124
lmtlmt

Gfx:

I'm not keen on offering my graphics to the public domain either. It would have been nice to have been asked about this before it was posted.

Osgeld is right. The coders talked a great deal but delievered very little. When you commit to a project you commit to spending time on it and actually working on it. I've worked on far too many projects that have gone this way and it's the bain of kids in the homebrew scene. :(
