Whilst some stockists claim to be continuing to struggle to get their hands on copies of Wii Fit, enough of Nintendo’s title has clearly made it into the channel to secure a fifth successive week at the top of the ELSPA GfK-ChartTrack UK All Formats Top 40 this week.

It’s the ninth time that Wii Fit has topped the UK listings, putting the title within touching distance of becoming Nintendo’s most successful chart title ever.

And there’s more success for Nintendo, too, with news that last week’s number four, DS hidden object debutant Mystery Case Files: Millionheir, has climbed one place to third this week.

Warner Interactive will be pleased to see next-gen FPS FEAR 2: Project Origin enter the charts in its first week of release in second position, whilst back on the fitness tip, Ubisoft’s My Fitness Coach sees an impressive nine-place jump elevate it to eighth position.

D3P’s Ben 10: Alien force debuts in 13th place, whilst Sega’s shooter sequel House of the Dead: Overkill, begins its UK chart journey at number 15. Other debutants include Burnout Paradise: The Ultimate Box in 36th and Disney’s Bolt at number 40.
