Does the Viper GC mod allow the GC to run regular mini-DVD's or mini-CD's?

why do people still think the GC uses 'mini-dvds'?
it uses custom optical discs made by hitachi.

It's already been released and it does allow you to run games off mini dvd (or full sized if you tear the hell out of your GC.
As far as using mini CDS, I have no idea...
